APLINES JOINS ESRI START-UP PROGRAM

Seamless Integration offers seamless route to value for ESRI Utility Network customers

PARIS January 28th, 2022: Aplines, the leading innovative asset management platform for electric utilities, has joined ESRI’s highly coveted start-up program, following a rigorous pre-qualification process. As a result, Aplines will be integrating its solutions with ESRI’s “Utility Network” (UN), a network model tailored specifically for the utilities sector. UN provides a network model and asset data dictionary that makes integrations easier. Utilities that are implementing UN will be able to leverage their investment and seamlessly integrate Aptimize, Aplines’ Decision Management Application Suite.  Aptimize will leverage asset data that sits in UN, and information coming from Aptimize, such as asset risk, will also flow back into ArcGIS.

ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute), is the international supplier and the world leader of geographic information system (GIS) software, web GIS, and geodatabase management applications. With over 43% of the global market share and estimated annual revenues of approximately $1.1 Billion, its flagship product ArcGIS Pro is a powerful mapping tool that allows people to create maps, analyze data, compile and share geographic information using interactive maps, and users can publish data to ArcGIS Online, a tool that connects people, locations, and data.

Aplines aids decision-making of maintenance and performance enhancement of asset portfolios in the global utilities sector, such as the electricity distribution and transmission.

As it is the first level of partnership, both Aplines and ESRI will be exploring other avenues to deepen the relationship.

Baptiste Jouffroy, VP of Sales and Marketing at Aplines, said ‘This is a fantastic opportunity for UN users to be able to experience a turbocharged version with our upcoming integration and see them benefit from the richer and deeper level of insights and gain a quantifiable amount of efficiency. For example, utilities which use ESRI UN will be able to better leverage their investments and rationalize maintenance and investments on the grid. I will be watching this integration with a keen eye as partnering with ESRI is a paramount decision for us. I am counting down the days for the release date to see how the rollout goes, especially in the US, which is a big focus country for us in H2 2022.
